Our Christmas in New Hampshire
As our time ticks down in New Hampshire I have decided to make a mass posting of some photos of our week here. First is the bath of the Babe, then we took a sleigh ride on Sunday eve with pictures of the George Women and the Pink Ladies, went sledding on Christmas Day night and a bunch of others so here they are!
Elayna's Baptism
Okay Big Day today! Laynie got Baptised this morning,EARLY this morning at 8am. Of course she didn't sleep well last night and we all worried how she would act during the ceremony. Simon got an emergency call right as we were walking out the door this morning. Of course we all weren't sure if whether he would make it or not and we waited until the very last minute possible, but as you can see from the pictures below he made it. Laynie did great through the whole thing and Aunt Robben had to fight back the tears as she became a God mother!Laynie wore the same Christening dress that Simon and Zak wore....that's right I said dress, but the pink flowers were added especially for Laynie.

How The Babe Stole Christmas
Well as promised here are some pictures of the infamous Laynie Lou. As most of you know if was very exciting for me to become an Aunt. Not only because I love kids so much but because I would never get the chance to be one otherwise since my parents only had me. Mom always said I would marry someone with brothers and sisters so that I would be able to become an aunt. Good thing Simon and Jenni make the most adorable babies. This was of course her first Christmas and she made out like a bandit and of course she stole the show with her cute outfits and the number of gifts she received. I may be a little biased as to how cute she is but you can check it out for yourself.
The Christmas Eve table...minus Dr. George
Uncle Zakie and Laynie
Before Christmas Libby went with a couple of girl friends and got a tattoo. Peter has been talking about getting one for a while now so Libby got him a gift certificate for Christmas. Tomorrow they are making there way to the town of Derry, NH to get Peter his sun tattoo. Apparently, the sun is to symbolize him golfing in the sun and the fact that he has two sons. I will post pictures tomorrow, I have been thinking about getting my nosed pierced since I am now a grown as women and can do what I want...hehehe!!!

Merry Christmas from New Hampshire!
Merry Christmas, I hope everyone is enjoying themselves and eating a lot! I am sitting in Dr. George's office looking out the window and you should see the view, WOW! The ground is covered with snow and the sun is shinning. They have a pond that is all iced over and it looks ready to go skating on...Jenni! Just wanted to say Merry Christmas and eat up! More later with pictures of the ever so cute Babe.

Sting Ray Swimming
Here is a short video of Zak swimming with the Sting Rays in Georgetown, Grand Cayman. They take you out in a boat to the middle of the ocean where there is a sand bar. You are supposed to just get out of the boat and shuffle your feet along the bottom (The sting ray shuffle) so you don't get a stinger in the rear. You can feed them squid and touch them but only in certain places. From the video you can tell that Zak was super excited about it and I got in the water freaked out and got right back out. Zak later told us that he touched one of them on the top of the back where we were told not to touch them at...men!
Bah Humbug...sort of
Christmas is a time of joy and happiness right? Well this year for me at least it doesn't even feel like Christmas. I think the problem is the wedding and honeymoon timing, not only did we miss Thanksgiving which is like the starting off point to the holiday season, but we were in Florida. How can you get into the spirit when it is 80 degrees and you are walking on the beach? I feel like Kevin from Home Alone, when his family was going to Florida for Christmas he said something about decorating a Palm tree....well that's what I did! Zak and I are going to be in New Hampshire for Christmas so I didn't really decorate the house. Zak actually had some of the guys put up lights and our blow-up Santa to surprise me...It helped a little. We leave tomorrow night for New Hampshire, which will be a lot of fun because everyone will be together and will hopefully help get me in the spirit. Thanks to Simon and Jenni for having us all, it should be interesting!
On another note, getting married was the best most memorable thing I have done in my life, thus far, I wouldn't change the location, number of people, or anything about it because it was what we wanted. But, when you are paying for a good portion of the wedding yourself and you come home from your honeymoon to no money, getting married sucks! I feel better after getting that off my chest.
Merry Christmas, I will post pictures from New Hampshire and my most adorable niece soon!
I have added pictures to the previous blog of the beginning of the snow we received a couple of weeks ago and a picture of my "new" hair cut.

Snowy Morning
Good Morning! It is finally done snowing here and Zak is in bed taking a snooze, since he was up for 22 hours straight I think he deserves it. I am watching CNN about to dive into snow time sheets, which always proves to be stress full. Anyways, the point of this blog is to share with you the slide show below. This is the first part of our honeymoon trip. You know everyone says that something is bound to go wrong on your wedding day and to not get upset if it does....well nothing went wrong it was PERFECT! All the bad stuff happened on the Honeymoon, we almost missed the ship, Zak got the stomach flu the second night, we didn't get to stop at our first port of Haiti because the weather was bad, they had to airlift two different people out at two different times one on the first day the second on the last day, Zak got sea sick on the deep sea fishing boat in Cozumel. That's about it, but all and all I was really glad that kind of stuff didn't happen on the day of the wedding and hey at least we were together through it all.

New Blog!
Hey everyone! I have joined so many "spaces" and "books" in the past few years that it gets really annoying to keep up with them. So, I have decided to join the blogging community. We technically don't have kids, I say technically because they have fur, which is what most people who have these things use them for. But this will keep you up on our busy lives and our future additions.....Mom calm down I meant WAY future additions. Check back for pictures and such!!
